A light bodied west coast style IPA made with both Pilsner and 2-Row malt. Using Centennial, Citra, Cascade, and Mosaic in both the boil and for dry-hopping brings grapefruit, orange and other citrus notes in both flavor and aroma.

The Nickelpoint India Pale Ale is a moderately hopped IPA with an aroma of sweet citrus with pine notes at the end. Brewed with 4 varieties of hops, the smooth, medium bodied mouth-feel creates a beer very much reminiscent of it’s historic English roots, but with an American twist.

The Curly Tail Blonde Ale is a crisp, refreshing ale with light malt sweetness balanced by a moderate amount of Liberty and Willamette hops. A highly attenuating English yeast give a clean finish to this session beer that can be enjoyed year round. Proceeds from the sale of this beer benefit the SPCA of Wake County.

The Belgian Golden Ale is complex in flavor with fruity esters and moderate spiciness resembling the deep rich flavor characteristic of Belgian styles.  Belgian yeast strains produce these wonderfully complex layers of flavors often aided by warmer fermentation temperatures. Medium golden in color, the Belgian Golden Ale has a great looking white head and is high in carbonation bringing the rich flavor to the fore.

A slightly hazy IPA with just the right amount of hoppiness.  IPA lovers will love the slightly citrus flavor with bold hop notes and hazy character.  A must try.

Nickelpoint Pecan Nut Brown Ale is a traditional English Brown Ale with a slight twist. Roasted pecans are added to the mash to bring about nutty tones to the sweet and roasty malt profile of this seasonal.  Moderate amounts of East Kent Golding hops were used to balance the rich malty character. With a light, sweet malty aroma and a medium-light to medium body mouthfeel, the Pecan Nut Brown Ale is an English Brown Ale suited for cooler fall weather.  While many varieties of Brown Ales can be found, Nickelpoint Pecan Nut Brown Ale mostly resembles the modern 20th century renditions of this historic style. Look for this again in Fall of 2018.

The award winnning Nickelpoint  Vienna Lager has a moderately rich German malt aroma very much like the Marzen, but is a little lower in gravity.  With a firm enough hop bitterness and an elegant malt complexity, Vienna Lager has a clean lager finish and a light to medium body.  Overall impression can be characterized by the soft yet elegant maltiness that dries out in the finish.

We started with our award winning Vienna Lager and added almonds to create this balanced amber larger. The aroma and flavor have a sweet nuttiness that finishes with a hint of cherry making this beer very drinkable and refreshing.

100% Pilsner malt makes this crisp refreshing lager extremely sessionable. Using exclusively Czarch Saaz hops throughout give it a slightly spicy profile without overpowering. More hop forward than most pislers, this Czech Pilsner shows an assertive bitterness that hits the spot.  Award winning Pilsner.

Brewed with real blackberry puree and rye malts, this wheat beer has blackberry on the nose and darker wheat flavor. Refreshing and not too sweet, this beer is sure to satisfy.

Modeled after a steam beer brewed by the oldest brewery on the West Coast, this beer is fermented with a special lager yeast that ferments at ale yeast temperatures. It is made exclusively with Northern Brewer Hops and is malty, roasty, and more bitter than most lagers. We highly recommend this beer to our IPA drinkers.
